It's official! Maserati are to exhibit their new car at the Geneva Motor Show.



I'm gutted that I won't be able to go the show!

New Maserati

I received an email the other day from Maserati inviting me to the Geneva motorshow. The email indicated that Maserati will be revealing a new car at the show. I also received these two pictures from a friend of mine illustrating a Maserati concept car.



Could this be the new car? Unfortunately I will be on holiday in March so won't be able to visit the show to find out... will keep my eye on the press though!

Happy Birthday!

Today is my birthday and what a fantastic present I received from my wife... she's organised a drive for me in a Lamborghini Gallardo!


I just need to organise a date and I'll be sure to post my driving impressions...

More Blow Off Valves

It's nice to see that my blow off valves are being adopted by other Ghibli owners. Here's a picture of another Ghibli with the valves fitted, this time by another owner (Mark) in the Netherlands and fitted by Jorrit at Auto Forza.


Mark seems pretty happy with them, particularly with the distinctive noise!

Updated Fuel Economy

I've updated the fuel efficiency graph for the Ghibli... economy has gone down a little, which I suspect is a direct result of the intake system I fitted and a heavy throttle foot, which looking at the dates seems to tie together.

So I'm currently getting just over 7 km/liter, which according to this convertor is just shy of 20 mpg (British), or 16.6 mpg (US). That's pretty poor from a 2.0 liter engine, but good fun though!

Brakes still for sale!

Unfortunately, no one was interested in my brakes, so they're still for sale if anyone is interested.



They're currently boxed up and tucked away in my cellar, so if you're after a set then just drop me a line.
